Installation of natural gas supply system for 13 cities in the South-Central region of Bulgaria, without construction of high pressure gas branches (virtual gas supply) (2008-2010)
The project is developed by a private gas distribution company disposing of a license for gas distribution and supply in the region. The project provides for the development of a gas distribution and supply system in 13 cities in the South Central Region of Bulgaria, which are segregated from the national gas supply system. The supply is provided via the Galileo technology (virtual gas supply) without construction of high-pressure gas branches. It is funded by a grant provided by the Kozloduy International Decommissioning Support Fund through the European bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and amounts to 1.25 M Euro.
Project objective is to provide a more reliable, less polluting, and efficient source of energy to households, commercial and industrial users and supporting economic development in the region.
Infraproject consult Ltd provides consulting services to the gas distributing company according its contract with the EBRD for the project “Installation of natural gas supply system for 13 cities in the South-Central region of Bulgaria, without construction of high pressure gas branches”.
Main activities under the project include:
- Tender dossier preparation;
- Evaluation and contracting procedures;
- Monitoring of implementation.
