Kazanlak area revitalization project (2004)

In response to the request of the Government of Bulgaria, the Government of Japan decided to implement the Kazanlak Area Revitalization Project. Infraproject Consult Ltd took part in the execution of the project as a local partner of PADECO Co, Japan. Objectives of the project were as follows:

• to provide the transfer of technical knowledge to Bulgarian counterparts so that the planning and implementation of regional development with tourism at its core would be sustainable in the subject area;
• to prepare a model of planning method and functional organization for regional development and to pave the way for nation-wide its application.
