Preparation of regional waste management plans and strategic environmental assessments for the Eastern and Northeastern regions of Macedonia (2013-2014)
The project was implemented for the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Macedonia by joint venture with a leading company Enviroplan, Greece. The company provided key expertise in the field of finance, including:
Assessment of the existing tariff system, collection rate, socio-economic indicators, unemployment levels, main industries, total revenues and other indicators for both regions;- Review and analysis of the existing socio-economic and financial situation in the waste management sector in the region;
- Preliminary assessment of resources and costs, including cash flow projections and financing plan with reference to a possible measures source funding.
